Super spinach smoothie
Ingredients (protein powder version):
1 to 2 cups of fresh baby spinach
1/2 to 1 frozen banana
1 cup soy milk
1 scoop of vegan protein powder (vanilla or peanut butter works amazingly well)
Ice cubes if you like it cold (optional)
Ingredients (hemp seeds version):
1 to 2 cups of fresh baby spinach
1/2 to 1 frozen banana
1 cup soy milk
2 tablespoons of hemp seeds
Ice cubes if you like it cold (optional)
Method:
In a blender, add the fresh baby spinach, ripe banana, vegan protein powder (or hemp seeds), soy milk, and ice cubes. Add some water (or more soy milk) if needed. Blend on high speed until the ingredients are well combined and the spinach is completely blended.
If the smoothie is too thick, add more soy milk or water until the desired consistency is reached.
Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy it immediately!
