Welcome Aka Gayou! In Guadeloupean Creole, “aka” means “at” and my friends call me Gayou. This is literally my home, my corner on the Internet so… welcome at Gaelle’s! Caribbean houses are always inviting and anyone stopping by is more than welcomed to stay for a bite and some banter.

I wanted to keep that spirit by sharing my kitchen, recipes and inspirations to all of you who decided to kindly stop by, in true spirit of my island upbringing. Here you will find vegan recipes inspired from the French Caribbean and also from all around the world.

Being a vegan in the kitchen opens a new world of flavors by bringing perspective to living Earth ingredients as well as avoiding any harm to fellow animals. It is first and foremost a declaration of love to the world and a celebration of life. Cheers to life!
